Warning issued by Dubai police against leaving children in parked vehicles

Dubai, Oct 18 (IANS): Dubai police has issued a strict warning to parents who leave their children unattended in parked cars. It's seen that parents leave their children in cars and go shopping or for any other reason.

Dubai police have stressed that it is a crime punishable by law and violators would be dealt with strictly.

Dubai Police said, "Leaving children unattended in parked vehicles is an act of negligence punishable by law." It further stated that legal action will be taken against violators.

Police recently have reported several incidents of kids getting trapped in cars or sleeping children being forgotten in the back seat. Quite a lot of cases ended up in tragedies. Authorities have been issuing warnings continuously and also conducting campaigns to educate the public regarding this issue.
