Kundapur: Man falls in Sumanavati rivulet, mortal remains found near Uppunda bridge

Kundapur, Sep 15: A 27-year-old man has met a watery grave in Sumanavati rivulet, Byndoor. The deceased identified as Shivaraja had left home for daily wage work at about 8 am on September 13 but had not returned. He was not found even after an intense search. However, on September 15 at 8.30 am his mortal remains were found near Uppunda bridge. 

It is said that he accidentally slipped and fell in the river while walking on the banks and drowned in the water during severe rain and storm between 8 am on September 13 and 8.30 am on September 15.

A case has been registered in Byndoor police station in this regard under UDR registration No. 31/2020 section 174 CRPC.
