Accidents on Dubai, Sharjah roads cause traffic jams

Dubai, Aug 12: Accidents reported on the Dubai and Sharjah roads caused significant delays for motorists on Wednesday.

In view of this, Dubai Police issued a statement on Twitter, advising drivers to stay cautious after an accident was reported on Al Rebbat Road from Business Bay Crossing towards Nadd Al Hamar Road.

The authorities also advised motorists to take alternative routes to avoid delays.

 

In an advisory posted on their official social media pages, the police also warn motorists that red-light jumping can lead to fatal accidents.

The accident led to slow movement in traffic and tailbacks.
