    Dear Rajesh,
you r talking about Poojary, Rai, forget these, where is Mr.& (Mrs.) Oscar ? this couple hv all the time in the world to cut ribbons and attend temples, mosques butno time for the great Christian who has grown so high in the world due to his own efforts. Even God wanted to keep these corrupt people away from the Noble Soul and that's why they didnot get TIME to pay even a condolence visit

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

Naming a road after him or not, Creating a Statue or not, Wilfy will always remain in the hearts and minds of Konkani people.

Ivan did a good job in organizing a function regarding this.

Hope this function will be above party politics.

It would be most befitting to bestow the late Wilfy Rebimbus - this great son of the Konkan and India with an Indian National Honour/award reserved for the best, for devoting his entire life in promoting Konkani music, songs and culture, keeping it alive and blossoming with his extraordinary God-given talent.

He is and will always be an inspiration for many more 'Wilfys' to emerge from the Konkani community in the near and distant future.

He and his songs have found an everlasting place in the hearts of the Konkani people living all over India and the world and by that he will continue to live on forever.

Good initiative Mr. Ivan. If people can collectively campaign to press the government to award Padma Shri or Padma Bushan, it would be a fitting tribute to the Legend and an Honour to Konkani Music
