Kundapur, Aug 8: Severe sea erosion is occurring in Kodi here in the heavy rain and storm during the last several days. MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty visited the affected areas and had a thorough look at the damages.
He visited the area from A Kodi to Haiguli bus stand affected by sea erosion and lent an ear to the grievances of the locals.
He said that he has already spoken to officials about the sea erosion and will direct them to solve the problem.
Country boat fishermen association president Manju Billava, municipal councillor Kamala Manju Poojary, Nagaraja Kanchan and others were present.
