Mangaluru: NITTE Polytechnic invites applications for courses

Mangaluru, Aug 7: NITTE Rukmini Adyantaya Memorial Polytechnic (aided) has invited applications for the following courses for the year 2020-21.

1. Mechanical Engineering

2. Electronics and Communication Engineering

3. Electrical and Electronic Engineering

4. Civil Engineering

5. Computer Science Engineering

6. Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology

Qualification for admission: 35% marks in SSLC or equivalent examination

Seats in serial numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are government seats and those seats will be allotted as per government-aided codes.

Admission for government seats will be held given the COVID–19 pandemic via online – non-interactive counselling online option entry on August 6. Students will be able to choose the courses and the polytechnics through the method.

All the candidates can fill up applications online through www.dtek.karnataka.gov.in, scan the relevant documents and upload them in the nearby government-aided polytechnic. The admissions will be reviewed at the office of the institute where admission is sought. The candidate will be informed if there are any changes. The candidate can also apply online.

The fees for eligible candidates for the fashion technology course will be waived. They will be employed soon after the course.

Seats are reserved for scheduled caste and scheduled caste candidates as per government rules. The government’s 2 SNQ seats will also be available online.
