Dubai: Entrepreneur Diwakar Alva passes away at 63

Dubai, Aug 6: Entrepreneur and active supporter of Kannadiga and Tulu forums, Diwakar Alva passed away on Thursday August 6. He was 63.

It is gathered that he was not well for the last eight months.

Alva was the director of Federal Insurance Brokers LLC, Dubai and was residing in Dubai for the last four decades. He was the founder member of UAE Tulu Koota, active member and supporter of UAE Bunts, and encouraging all Kannada and Tulu events in Dubai.

Alva’s house in Mangaluru is located at Badilaguthu, Rai Bhavan in Kadri.

He is survived by wife Saritha, daughter Powshali, and son Manal.

Saritha is from Mumbai and daughter of well-known social worker, Lions Governor, A B Shetty of Udupi Hotel, Fort.

    Heartfelt condolence dear sir. I have been with him last 20 years. He was smart, friendly and enough to make you laugh. What a energetic personality he was. we'll miss him badly. He was so special to us and special can never be forgotten. You will live in our hearts.

    Very Sad to know my dear friend, Alva, my classmate, , at St. Aloysius College ,Mangalore, 1980 BA
    Batch. is no more, May His Soul Rest In Peace, May God Give Courage to His Family to bear This Pain.

    Our Last Meeting was at St Marys Church , Dubai, May be 15 years ago.
