Udupi: Puthige Swamiji cured from corona, discharged from hospital

Udupi, Aug 1: After undergoing 12 days of treatment for Covid-19 Puthige Math seer Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji was discharged from the KMC Manipal here on Saturday August 1.

He was admitted to hospital on July 21 with coronavirus symptoms. He also performed his annual Chaturmasa Vrutha at the hospital.

Now he is cured from coronavirus and was hence discharged on Saturday. He is now resting at Padigaru math, where he is performing Vrutha.

In a media release, from the management of Puthige Math, they requested the devotees, "Swamiji is under rest for some days. Please do not come to visit him. We thank people, who prayed and wished him a speedy recovery.”
