Udupi: Two municipal councillors test positive for coronavirus

Udupi, Jul 15: Two more councillors of the city municipality here have tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday July 15.

According to reliable sources, one of them was admitted into a private hospital in the city for treatment of symptoms. After the throat swab testing, it was found that she has contracted coronavirus infection.

Another councillor also has tested positive for Covid 19 on account of primary contact. Both are getting treatment at the Covid hospital.

In connection with the earlier case on Tuesday, July 14 when a senior health officer of the city municipal council was found to have been infected by coronavirus. The city municipal council building was sanitized yesterday.
