Jaipur, Jul 14: The Congress on Tuesday sacked Sachin Pilot as the deputy chief minister (DCM) of Rajasthan for his revolt against the party as he skipped the second meeting of MLAs in two days.

Two ministers who joined him in his revolt have also been dropped.

Pilot skipped the second meeting of Congress MLAs despite several senior leaders reaching out to him to end his dispute with chief minister Ashok Gehlot as he remained unmoved by the party's overtures since Monday.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said Sachin Pilot was "ensnared" by the BJP to bring down the Congress government in Rajasthan. "We have given Sachin Pilot many opportunities. He has been an MP and minister of state and a state party president. I am sad that Sachin Pilot and some of his colleagues have fallen for a trap laid by the BJP. This is unacceptable," he said.

Govind Dotsara has been appointed as the PCC chief while MLA Ganesh Gogra as the president of Rajasthan Pradesh Youth Congress Committee and Hensingh Shekhawat as Sewadal Chief.

I am no big fan of Congress, however, the trio of Rajesh Pilot, Madhav Rao Scindia and YSR Reddy, would have given a serious challenge for any opposition party on any day. Their loss to accidents made me doubt the intentions of Gandhi family echelons.

Over the years, I suspected that it was accidents that will enable coronation of Sonia Gandhi. Which was a disaster to the party and now the wait for coronation is for none other than Raul himself. All of this has one silver lining. Indian voters are uneducated, poor and downtrodden that they will invariably vote for Congress no matter what.

However, over the period, Mulayum's son grew and also offsprings of other political dynasties, dwarfing the rise of RaGa not from within but from outside. RaGA was challenged by non-Congress Bahu in Amethi, and last semblance of trust over the poor wisdom of voter by the grand party was lost.

If accidents did not happen, and simultaneously if family dynasty was not part of Congress DNA, there was a small chance of its survival. But, it was never to be.

After the younger Scindia, it is now the turn of Pilot. This was also expected and actually no surprise. The devious plot was there for all to see. Pilot works hard, brings Congress to power, to be only told to accept subordination of deadwood Ghelot, who is harmless to RaGa. Scindia worked hard brought Congress to power, to be only told to accept subordination by another deadwood KamalNath, who accepted eternal subordination to Gandhi family.

And there lies the message for Yeddy and his dynastic ambitions.

Those who have left Congress are in good position in many cases.Sharad Pawar runs his own Party,NCP.Cannot accept a Party which is not having internal democracy.Just because someone is from Nehru family and if it is their birth right to rule with or without having ability,it cannot be called democratic party.Even after 73 years if the party is fully under one family,it tends to lose.People are educated now to understand which party is better.Any leader with self respect and dignity cannot continue in a Party where merit has no value.

Check out history.....those who left Indira congress.....Devaraj Urs, T A Pai, then they left Rajiv Gandhi, I.E Menaka gandhi etc.., they left Sonia like Sangma, Pawar....all lost heavily.. congress still a national strong party. with 100plus years history....even with EVM machine they can not wipe out congress from India.

Given that he has the support of only a small number of legislators (that may still be enough for the Gehlot government to fall), what were the options he was exploring? After all, he is one of the young leaders who gained substantially during his time in the Congress because of his lineage and the popularity his father Rajesh Pilot left for him in the state. He was an MP when he was 26 and became a Union minister when he was 29 ‒ a feat that very few have achieved in any political party. Before the rebellion, he held the crucial position of the PCC president, two portfolios in Gehlot’s cabinet, and also the deputy minister’s chair.

The BJP could temporarily make Pilot chief minister for the immediate benefit of establishing its government in the state. “Even if the BJP makes Pilot the CM, it would only be a temporary settlement. The leadership will not let him continue in that post as he will always be seen as an ambitious outsider.

Pilot to think that he could replace the seasoned and popular Gehlot, and see the CM’s chair as his birthright, reeks of entitlement. At the age of 26 he became Union Minister and at 42 Deputy Chief Minister unlike multiple Chief Minister in the BJP.

But his greediness following in the foot steps of 'Dynasty Scindia's' Royal family of technically traitors he is ruining his own carrier who may be temporarily seasoned to be Chief Minister and later dumped with Rajya Sabha or Union Minister post.

Its sad to see young Turks like Scindia & Pilot leave Congress at this juncture. It sends wrong signals, especially when they won elections for the party and then sidelined to make way for some old people.
So its obvious youngsters are not given a chance. Many of the current ambitious lot do not want to end us as mere sloganeers for their entire tenure. Die hard Cong supporters too have slowly moved out and even joined other parties where oppurtunities to serve is gauranteed. The young support base is dwindling. The last protest in Mlore against price rice saw only 28 members in the whole of Mlore, reducing us to a laughing stock. I hate to believe and say this, but the situation is really alarming for Congress.

Very sad to see these young talented who would be tomorrow's political leaders are going to be downgrade because of their selfish interest to grab power. There was no necessity of grabbing power as they are still young. They need some experience to govern the people in democratic country.

First of all there was no congress government for some years in Gujarat. Ashok Gehlot is a very good CM and was ruling very well in Rajasthan. Even in MP kamal Nath government was started good work for the people. But BJP central leaders know that their ending time has come and any cost they want destabilise Congress ruled government.

As my opinion it is good these selfish leaders going out of party. Congress will be in pure at the time of next Lok Sabha election hopefully in 2024. Everyone knows now BJP’s tactics how they played with China. No doubt after they (BJP) may start to play game with Pakistan group (Through RSS with Maulana Group and other group) before the next 2024 election. Any way now people are came to know BJP's fake ideology. There is no doubt before the end of 2024 Modi and Amith Shah will run away from the public anger.

As you know, the world is ruling by Satan power. These Satan will vanish in a couple of years, but till then we need to be have patience and pray the God to defeat Satan power.

Rahul Gandhi should have accepted Sachin Pilots resignation as the State Congress Chief after the Lok Sabha polls. Allowing him to amass all the posts of Congress Chief and DCM made him arrogant and power-hungry. Even seasoned politicians in Karnataka and other States did not have the opportunity to become DCMs despite years of loyalty to the congress. Here a kid was given the benefit. At least now Rahul Gandhi should not promote his cronies like Sachin and Scindia by pampering them with important responsibilities who have ultimately enjoyed the party benefits and discredited and ditched the congress.

It is better for Congress to get rid of people who can jump for the sake of money. Each and every party is based on ideology, for what you're in a party if you want to join another party with completely different ideology, just for power.

As someone said, he was deputy CM and state president. What else he want in this young age who is a leader just because of his father's name?? Same goes with Scindia, he lost election, he was a RS candidate from Congress and he had many of his supporters as ministers. What he has now??

The issue is very fundamental in congress. Many youth leaders want to come up. But there is no opportunity because of the insecurity of central leadership.

Jyotiraditya Scindia & Sachin Pilot supported Rahul Gandhi for a quite long time. But both understood that they are very far away in Central due to Rahul Gandhi's failure. What signals are it giving the party country wide. Some smart youngsters are already read these signals and joined BJP in their minority morcha wing . Mind you, they have been given chances to contest as well. Had they been in Cong, they would have been just shouting 'Ramanatha Rai ki Jai ' , 'Kai ki Jai' for their whole life.
The irony is , still some die hards do not comprehend this.

Himant Biswa has capacity to swing NE states for Congress.
Schindia had the capacity of influencing atleast 25 seats in his state
Sachin pilot can influence atleast 25 seats in Rajasthan.

All the above capable people do not have place or future in congress, the only reason being they dont want a competition for Pappu within the party. Forget swinging any state, this fellow could not save his family bastion and ran away and contested in some Somaliland to get into parliament through caste votes, he is the futre of congress and is PM aspirant. Until congress is the principle opposition, BJP does not have to worry much. in 2024, it will be Modi 3.0 or NDA for sure. Con-gress may max get 65-70 seats.

There is no point in blaming the BJP for the developments in Rajasthan. The fact is that the Congress is now a rudderless party without a strong leader. Sonia is anything but competent. She is only interested in her children. Her children will never come up and good and efficient people in the Congress will never be allowed to come up. As long as Sonia is at the helm of affairs, ache din will never come to the Congress. In the absence of a strong opposition, the ruling party will have a cake walk and nothing will stop it from attaining its goal. That is something all right thinking Indians should worry about.
