Mangaluru, Jun 4: Unknown people who had hung banners giving new names to Pumpwell and Thokkottu flyovers here and also Nehru Maidan, went to work late night on Wednesday June 3 to fix a banner over Surathkal flyover.
The flex hung at Surathkal flyover has announced the name of the flyover as ‘Bhagat Singh flyover’.
There is no idea who hung this banner and no one has claimed responsibility.
In the name of Bajrang Dal, messages have been spreading in social media, claiming that the said banner was put in place by that organization. The messages also want the work of naming structures after valiant heroes of Tulunadu to be continued. But the organization has not confirmed the authenticity of these claims.
