Udupi: Kasturba Hospital Manipal introduces consultation via telemedicine for existing patients

Udupi, Apr 1: Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal announced the introduction of consultation via telemedicine for existing patients with effect from Thursday April 2.

To control the spread of COVID-19, certain restrictions were put in place. Because of this, most of the patients are now in trouble with their timely consultation with the doctors and follow ups as well. Realizing this, to continue to provide consultation and follow-ups support to the existing patients, the management decided to introduce consultation via telemedicine services to the patients.

Under this service, people can contact their doctors from their homes.

The doctors will offer teleconsultation and medical advice over the phone. People can contact the specialist doctors of all the departments from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on: 080 47192235.

Fever clinics and emergency services will function as usual.
