President appoints Kejriwal as Delhi CM


New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS): President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday appointed Arvind Kejriwal as the Chief Minister of Delhi with effect from Sunday.

Kovind also appointed the Cabinet Ministers -- Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain and Rajendra Pal Gautam.

They all will take oath as ministers along with Kejriwal on Sunday.

President also accepted the registration of Kejriwal and his Cabinet from the last term.

The Aam Aadmi Party bagged 62 of the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi and will be forming the government again on Sunday.

Kejriwal is retaining all his Cabinet Ministers in the new term.
