Nasik Konkani Association celebrates St Francis Xavier's feast

Nashik, Dec 6: The Holy Cross parish of Nashik, Maharashtra, celebrated St Francis Xavier's Feast on December 3, 2019, in Konkani in a grand manner. The main celebrant was Fr Patrick S J, and the concelebration was by Fr Lloyd S J. A wonderful sermon regarding the life history and principles of St Francis was given by Fr Patrick Vaz S J. The melodious choir supported the mass.

The introduction was given by Teresa D'Souza. The vote of thanks was proposed by Jean Rebello. The liturgy and responses were well organized by Robert Cardin on the electronic projector. The video shooting and photography was by Rajesh Fernandes and the alter was decorated with beautiful flowers by Selva Kumar.

More than 300 faithful from all the different parish in Nashik attended the mass. After the mass, all the faithful enjoyed a delicious community meal. The grace was delivered by Fr Godfrey S J, "We thank all the faithful who were part of this great celebration."

All this was possible due to the efforts and support provided by Fr Vincy D'mello, the parish priest, and the community along with the Konkani Association of Holy Cross Parish.

We thank the almighty for all his blessings and graces and for making this event a grand success.
