Beltangady: School bus from Belagavi trips - 13 children injured

Beltangady, Dec 6: A school bus from Belagavi district fell by its side at Kokkada in the taluk on Friday, December 6.

The accident took place near Kapinabagilu, Kokkada.

As many as 13 students in the bus suffered minor nicks and cuts. The bus suffered damages.

Sources said that the students travelling by the bus were on a school trip.

    Looks like Mangalore RTO needs a major Surgery in Traffic Rule Enforcement FORCE'.. Driver may forget the traffic teachings within an hour.... Instead ..Bus owner need to be' Caught in Public'....that works for sure..& fix the problem..

    Thank God there were only injuries to the 13 children in spite of the bus fell by its side. Anything worst could have happened.

    Whenever if there is any school trip, and any accident happens, the Headmaster's and class teacher should be held responsible. Because, I have see that there is no discipline in the bus. Shouting, dancing, singing make driver disturbance. They must sit quite like they sit in the classroom.. then only bus drivers can concentrate on driving .
    All Schools must be careful in future.
