Sorry to hear this sad incident. RIP Kalyani.
We can't blame car manufacturers. Normally seat belts are given to protect your head banging to the steering wheel and throwing you out the vehicle during accidents. May God bless all passengers a safe journey.

SUE Hyundai Inc for this ghastly accident! .. do not take it for granted.

This should not have happened as it was tested before production that such incidents are taken care of and certified that it is safe.

Also sue the Indian certification board who gave the authorization for giving go ahead for Indian road operations.

If we all sit quiet , it is taken for granted. So lets start a MOVEMENT not to take the citizens for
    granted

    Rest in Peace Kalyani.

Seat belts and helmets should be made optional. Helmets are banned in Commonwealth boxing as they cause more serious head injuries as the field of vision is restricted . Seatbelts can kill in case of a fire.

From 2016 helmets and headgears are banned in Olympics boxing also , the reason as I mentioned earlier is they cause more brain damage and I am sure the participants know how to wear them.
