Four state BJP rebels to join Congress party soon?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Oct 13: Four BJP candidates, who lost in the last assembly elections against the disqualified candidates of Congress and JD(S), are almost sure to join the Congress party.

Sharath Bacchegowda of Hoskote, Raju Kage of Kagawada, U B Banakar of Hirekerur and Ashok Poojary of Gokak have been appointed by the BJP as persidents of various corporations and boards. However, the four have not accepted these positions and have asked the party to give them tickets to contest for the forthcoming bye-election that is scheduled to take place on December 5.

It is almost sure that the disqualified MLAs of Congress and JD (S) are going to contest on BJP ticket from the constituencies where the bye-elections will be held. So it is learnt from Congress party sources that these four will join Congress in order to secure their political future.

It is said that already two rounds of discussions in this regard were held between these four BJP rebels and the state Congress leaders.

If the political opportunism by shifting parties for the sake of position and power should be arrested, now is the time for the congress to shut the doors for such elements. Failure to recognise grass root workers in the ticket selection process in the congress has resulted in its disastrous performance at the hustings and exodus in large numbers. At least now let the congress put an end to it.

I think its high time that we the electorate (voters) put our thinking caps on and put some sense into our actions.
We chose these MLA's & MP's to serve us and we elect them expecting them to be loyal to us and our beloved State and nation.
Now just think, these MLA's and MP's who are not loyal to their own parties who have nurtured them all the time and made them capable enough to win the elections, do you think they are going to be loyal towards the voters or the state or the nation? Do you think they will work for us or work for themselves and their greed instead?
    Think!!!!!!

Congress rule of 70 years versus 6 yrs rule of BJP is evident now. Unemployment is highest. GDP is down. Prices are rising. Opposition party members are raided. Porkistan is the focal point. Exports are down. Industrial growth is down. People are losing jobs. Division amongst people is increasing.
