Udupi, Oct 9: "If he aim, motto and education are right, it is possible to realize ones dreams. The young generation of today should spare their time for the training for competitive exams, in addition to the education. It is possible to shape up a bright future by working hard with the dedication of achieving the goal. This also helps in living as a good citizen," said Sunil B N, director of National IAS Academy, Bengaluru. He was speaking as the resource person in the 'Awareness programme on Civil Services and Competitive Examinations' held at St Mary's College, Shirva near here.

Fr Denis D'Sa, convener of St Mary and Don Bosco group of educational institutions, presided over the function and said, "Life is full of challenges. Students have to identify the hidden talents in them and get all the information required to nurture the same and make it grow in their life."

Prof Rajan V N, principal of the college did the introductory speech and urged the students to get the maximum benefit out of the workshop. Irene Mendonca, prinicipal of pre-university college, teaching and non-teaching staff and students of both pre-university and degre were present.

Director of Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college, Lieutenant Prof K Praveen Kumar introduced the resource person and welcomed the gathering. Priyanaka and team said the prayers. Co-director of the cell Tanuja N Suvarna rendered the votes of thanks and compered the programme.
