Mangaluru, Oct 5: MLA U T Khader inaugurated 'Waffle and Bites' cake and cafe shop here at Valencia on Friday, October 4.
District Qazi Al Haj Ahmed Musliyar offered dua.
Addressing the gathering, U T Khader congratulated Rahil Hamza on his new venture.
MLC Ivan D Souza said, “A humble beginning is always good. Rahil Hamza at a young age, has started a new business at prime location. This shop offers quality food for youngsters and old alike. I wish the best.”
Mangaluru south MLA Vedavyas Kamath visited the shop and congratulated the owners.
‘Waffle and Bites’ is owned by Rahil Hamza Rashid, son of S M Rashid chairman of SMR group. The outlet offers thick shakes, smoothies, cold coffee, mocktails, mojitos, ice creams, hot beverages, Belgian waffles and Dutch pan cakes.
Ustad Abdul Rahman Saqafi, Khateeb Masjid-ul-Taqwa, Eidgah Masjid Khateeb Sadakatul Nadvi, Kaprigudda Jalal Masjid Khateeb Mushtaq Madani, BCCI president SM Rashid Haji, Raif Abbas, Rifat Ahmed, Denzel Jesudas and others were present.
