Bantwal: 25-year-old Gulf employee ends life by hanging

Bantwal, Sep 12: A young man ended his life by hanging on Thursday, September 12 at B Muda village near here.

Prashanth (25), son of Bantwal municipal member Vidyavathi and Pramod Kumar, is the deceased person.

Prashanth was employed in a Middle East country and had come on holidays.

Bantwal police have taken up investigations.

The reason for the extreme step is not known yet.

Very sad to see a young man employed in ME has taken this horrible step. If he had been an employee in India comments would have been quite different. Good to see no political comments here.

Shocking and very distressing, to observe young and old committing suicide.... In my state of Maharashtra, media has stopped reporting suicide cases, people have become immune, to such tragic, daily occurrences.... We Indians have really lost the value of humanity !!!!!!!
