Mangaluru: Renovated branch of MCC Bank inaugurated at Kankanady

Mangaluru, Sep 12: The renovated branch of MCC Bank and ATM was inaugurated at The Emporium, Kankanady on Thursday, September 12.

Joseph Sequeira, proprietor of Sequiera Engineering Works, inaugurated the renovated premises of Kankanady branch (AC). Louis J Pinto, president of Mannd Sobhann, inaugurated the ATM and Fr Onil D’Souza, director, St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu, blessed the renovated premises.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Onil D’Souza said, "Changes are a part of the life. Without changes, life itself is boring. For the changes and development we need to take some risk. Similarly, banking sector has witnessed several changes and development. MCC Bank board has taken up good positive steps to bring that changes and development. I wish all the best for the MCC board members and I hope many more customers will avail the services of MCC Bank.”

Louis J Pinto said, "MCC Bank has successfully completed 107 years. During this period, due to the service of the MCC Bank, people are attracted towards it. It is always difficult for a bank like MCC to go along with the nationalised banks. But the team of MCC have showed that it can walk along with the nationalised banks. People may question why only 16 branches in 107 years of its inception. The number of branches is not important, but due to the service provided, MCC Bank has stood tall in the last 107 years.”

Anil Das, director of Das promotions, said, "MCC Bank has added another feather to its cap by this renovated premises of its bank and ATM at Kankanady.”

Anil Lobo, chairman of MCC Bank said, "Our motto is to provide customer-friendly services. I urge everyone to spread information about MCC Bank and it feels like it is our bank. We have services like house loans, vehicle loan. We have the mobile banking with zero charges. We have also started students’ savings bank account where youths are attracted and till now over 2,000 students have opened their account in the bank.”

The third ATM and E-stamping facility at Karkala branch was inaugurated on September 9, fourth ATM at Bajpe branch was inaugurated on September 11 and inauguration and blessing of Shirva Branch (AC) and sixth ATM will be held on September 15.

Michael D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Laura Fernades, manager, rendered the vote of thanks.

    My experince dealing with the bank was not that cordial. The staff needs more training more product knowledge and the branch maneger need to come out the there cabin and be more friendly and mixing with the custmer .

    It is very difficult to satisfy all....if you try to do that...you will satisfy NONE...

    My advise...keep low expectations....so you won't be disappointed....this is not only limited to bank applies every where....'High stakes and Desperate Men'....
