Thane: Class 10 student commits suicide by jumping off school building

Thane, Aug 22: In a tragic incident, a class 10 student studying at privately-run Ansari Safia Girls Urdu High School in Bhiwandi, committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of the school building.

As per police, Mubshira Bano, 14 appeared for an internal test on Wednesday in her class after which she went upto the fifth floor of the building and jumped down.

The school security saw her lying in a pool of blood. Mubshira was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where she was given primary treatment and referred to J J Hosptal in Mumbai for advanced treatment. Unfortunately, she passed away on the way to Mumbai. Police said they are probing into the incident.

    It is a sad incident. May her soul RIP. What is wrong with these youngsters? Committing suicide is not a solution at all. A thorough investigation will reveal the cause of this school girl to take such a drastic step.
