Mangaluru Aug 22: Tulu movie 'Girgit' directed by Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh Kadri is talk of the town and movie lovers are enthusiastically waiting for its release on August 23.
The premiere of Girgit movie was held at Big Cinemas on Wednesday August 21 along with the star cast, film celebrities, renowned directors and producers.
It marks the directorial debut of Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh Kadri who were keen on surpassing a lot of expectations. Providentially, Girgit met the expectations and is a hilarious, plot-driven family entertainer. A big thumbs up for this rib-tickling movie.
Girgit primarily revolves around the lead characters Roopesh Shetty and Shilpa Shetty. Bojraaj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar and Umesh Mijar play important roles in the movie.
Being a debutant in the Tulu Industry, Shilpa Shetty looked promising and confident on-screen and did justice to the role. Roshan Shetty plays an antagonist in this film with his typical southern attire surely keeps the audience amazed.
In an interview in 'Picture Lecture' with Manasa, Roopesh Shetty had revealed that hard work was put in penning down the story and dialogues. Prasanna Shetty Bailur has come out with an entertaining comedy dialogues targeting the Mangaluru audience.
The music by Joel Rebello and Darrel Mascarenhas with high class cinematography looks enriching in highlighting the scenic beauty of Mangaluru.
A four out of five and a thumbs up for director Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh Shetty for bringing out such a rollercoaster of entertainment. Sometimes, a good laugh is all you need to make your day. Don’t miss this one, because Girgit is a laugh riot.
