Mangaluru: St Agnes College carries out 'prevention of dengue, malaria' drive

Mangaluru, Aug 13: St Agnes college (autonomous) recently organised 'Prevention of dengue and malaria drive' at the college campus.

The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and to prevent malaria, dengue and other related diseases of mosquito bites.

The students and teachers incharge were guided by the ATC co-ordinator Dr Nancy Vaz, assistant co-ordinator Dr Neethu Suraj and secretary Aishwarya. The cleanliness drive went on from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.

The teachers in charge, along with their team, launched the cleanliness drive throughout the college campus.



ATC students cleaned the college campus by picking up containers in and around the campus which could lead to mosquito breeding. The ATC team of BBA, BSC, BCA and BA went to the different corners inside and outside the college campus for the cleaning activity.
