Mangaluru, Jul 18: Ashvithi Shetty and Chandan Shetty starrer hip hop rap song 'Shokilala' was released on July 17.

It was dream come true for Ashvithi Shetty to work with Chandan Shetty through Shokilala. Ashvithi had made her debut in the blockbuster movie ‘Mr and Mrs Ramachari’ and later was seen in the movie ‘Suli’.

Ashvithi was also seen in the Kannada flick ‘Ananthu Vs Nusrath’ for which she received recognition for her performance. Now, Ashvithi has rocked the floor with some hip hop moves with Chandan Shetty in Shokilala.

Ashvithi is seen in glam look for the first time. Her performance and looks have been highly appreciated by viewers. Ashvithi Shetty's transformation over the last two years is yielding positive results which can be clearly seen in Shokilala song.

Speaking to Daijiworld.com, Ashvithi Shetty said, "The Shokilala title itself speaks about youngsters’ lifestyle these days and with a bit of humour. I must say that the visuals has come out beautifully. The song is stylish, catchy and the team effort is commendable. Anyone likes to listen to the lyrics and can connect it to their daily life.

“It was a dream come true to work with Chandan Shetty. He recognised my effort, talent and roped me in for this song. It is a great experience as he is humble and passionate. I would love to do more projects with him. This is my first ever glam look with hip hop mix in it.

'I am running out of words for the response I got for my performance and dance in Shokilala and people have accepted me completely which motivates me to do better,” she said.

The song’s lyrics, composition, vocals and direction for the video is by Chandan Shetty.
