Mumbai: Met department predicts decreased rainfall

Mumbai, Jul 13: Rainfall is likely to drop in the city and its suburbs after heavy rain in the first week of July.

Rainfall was less on Thursday with Meteorological department recording 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm.

The fall in precipitation despite overcast skies increased maximum temperature to 30.6 degrees celsius and humidity of 88 per cent in Colaba while it was 31.2 degrees celsius and 77 per cent in Santacruz.

The trend is likely to continue with one or two spells of rains or showers during the next 48 hours.
