For SMART city please see below:
    1. Build the flyover at Nanthoor junction.
    2. Ensure all traffic lights are working & synchronized.
    3. Install solar panels on ALL government buildings to generate their own power for lighting, fans, etc. DC to be made accountable.
    4. MRT or sky-bus from Kasarkod - Mangalore - Kundapur.
    5. Compulsory water harvesting for all new buildings to get NOC. For all existing buildings deadline should be 2022, otherwise disconnect services.
    6. Build proper traffic control station at KPT.
    7. All buildings should have at least 1 tree of local variety in their compound for every 5000sq ft of built up area. Otherwise penalty & that money to go to planting & maintaining a tree in the vicinity.
    8. All buses to have doors at both entrances - all payments to be made by SMART card only. This will stop the thieving by the bus conductors who do not issue tickets.

The sooner we start the better.

Just planning and passing time. Nobody can do Mangalore as a smart city. Simply west of money and time. They can't complete clock tower work from years, no proper footpath and roads . It takes another 100 years.

Pls allocate more money for creation of water facilities.

Just rejuvenation of two lakes is not enough. Build a comprehensive water supply project with several sources.

Smart city without water is of of no use. Water is a necessity and has to be given top priority.

First .... Government should start govt local bus services and remove bus Mafiya.
And overhead metro on NH 66 Mangalore to Kundapura. Should stop at Express bus stops. We don't need watch towers, swimming pool.

Why not develop a new city rather than trying to make present shit beutiful. Allocated a new 1000 acres do proper infrastructure and then sell to builders some of the portions. Let govt also invest in some projects. We need a new smart city.
