Moodbidri, Jun 17: A shrewd couple that had left behind a note indicating their intention to commit suicide inside the forest, reappeared to the surprise of everyone at the house of the boy's family on Sunday June 16.

The note left behind by the duo had made the families to worry about their safety. The police were forced to undertake search operation inside the forest for them. It is said that the girl was found wearing Karimani in her neck and a toe ring was found around her toes. Therefore it appears that the missing boy and girl have since got married to each other.

Sathish, an artiste and member of a band set, and a lady from Todar who was pursuing degree course, who had together gone missing, have come back to Sathish's home. As both are majors, the Moodbidri police have closed the case.

The two had hired a taxi from Udupi to Mulky on June 11. From there, they had travelled to Pidamale forest near Kallamundkur by another taxi, it has been claimed. In a ten rupee currency note they had left behind in the taxi, they had said that they had decided to end lives together and written the names of people whom they held responsible for this decision. The taxi driver, who noticed the currency note sometime later, reportedly had handed it over at Mulky police station.

The couple told the police that they had married at Murudeshwar temple, but the veracity of this information is also not confirmed.

Instead of faking suicide, causing pain, grief and anguish to parents and further troubling the police, they should have informed parents or relatives immediately after marriage.

Now a days people are too crazy as we have news every day regarding love, murder, suicide etc... Some are committing suicide without informing, some others do the act like this news to get sympathy for their marriage, some go for extreme like murder in the name love and marriage. But all these people forget the fact that love is an illusion and in most cases last for temporary period. There is no need to die for one girl or boy as there are thousands available to replace and marry. Never go for suicide or murder as life is precious as one can not get it back if intentionally killed. There should be counselling for such couple to cope with the situation. In our custom tradition caste religion bound society it is better not to choose wrong partners for the sake of one's goodness and future.
