Bengaluru: Debacle effect - Nikhil Kumaraswamy's behaviour went out of control?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 25: The fact that all efforts put in by his father and party activists towards his victory in Mandya constituency proved futile seems to be weighing heavily on the mind of candidate from that constituency, and chief minister, Kumaraswamy's son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy. It is learnt that on the night of Thursday May 23, once his result became public, Nikhil went out of control when inside the Radisson Blu hotel at Mysuru. This incident however became public with some delay, as per some reports appeared in some news channels and papers.

When the result came out, Nikhil was not to be seen anywhere. However, he had stayed at a hotel in Mysuru for the night. Hurt and insulted by his defeat, Nikhil is learnt to have shouted and created a scene at the above hotel. Although the hotel manager and staff tried their best to console him, he was unstoppable and launched a verbal attack against them. He unleashed his inner feelings about the leaders in Mandya and abused them, it is said.

Kumaraswamy also expressed a sense of indignation for having lost the election against a woman candidate. In a fit of rage, he shouted that this was a big insult for him, and said that the people of Mandya did not support him, and his desire to become a member of parliament was ruined, the reports say.

In a drunken state, Nikhil also expressed ire against his grandfather and JD(S) national president, Deve Gowda, holding him solely responsible for miring him in the Mandya quagmire. "I reposed trust in you and have been ruined. In spite of having the backing of eight MLAs and two ministers from the region, why did I have to face debacle? Has Revanna not succeeded in convincing Congressmen in Hassan? Why did you not appease Congress rebels, Cheluvaraya Swamy and Narendra Swamy? You fielded me from Mandya, telling me that it is a strong fortress of the JD(S). You all joined together and doomed me. I am insulted because of this defeat," he is learnt to have shouted at the top of his voice, the reports claim.

But later reports said that such incident did not take place at all. Chief minister Kumaraswamy too took to Twitter to explain that Nikhil was not involved in any incident after the election results came out.

If the report is true, then it is the true color of pampered baby or spoiled brat.

During elections he was portraying soft image but now it is completely opposite.

He thought his family can do anything, that is the mistake.

This Gowda family's defeat is a blessing for Congress. Otherwise they would have wiped them out of Karnataka. It is right time they come out of coalition.

Feeling sad for Nikil, his engagement broke, flim flooped and he lost in Mandya, boy needs some serious consultation else the only son of Kumaraswamy might go into depression. It's all the more insulting that Prajwal Revanna won from Hassan who is younger to him. Kumaraswamy is lucky and his Lucy mascot is his daughter Shamika, he became the CM post her birth. Some introspection is required. They demeaned, insulted a lady in Mandya put all their might to throw her away. Humiliated her, unfortunately she was from their clan & party just that she lost her husband and the world changed for her. It was only Yash and Darshan who stood by her despite their busy schedule and heavy risk of being targeted heavly. Ultimately people stood by their daughter in law, ensured she is not insulted and empowered her. It least bothers me if she joins any party, but I am happy that people will not tolerate when their daughter / daughter in law is insulted. Politics is a dirty game and politicians stoop to any extent but ultimately it's democracy and you can't fool people always.

You have listed all but one for Sumalatha's victory.
BJP openly supported her and the main factor for her victory is that her lenience towards BJP.

Sumalatha is a brave lady, kept her cool even when she was abused with bad language by these leaders. She is a matured woman, did not reply to them for their foul language. Whole government machinery worked against a, woman including the CM.
But God had other plans & end of the day she has last laugh. God blessed her with votes & punished the whole dynasty.

So you agree that Nikhil lost his temper and made a scene of himself. The JDS tried to defeat Sumalatha by fielding 3 more ladies with same name and attire. That was the lowest point of HDD and crying kummi
Coming to Pumpwell regarding having a hot discussion why not the police officer filed a complaint? All nautanki by chaddiless supporters
Don't worry for next decade also you have to bear with BJP/Kateel/Pumpwell/MODI

Stop dynasty politics and select leaders with right qualities, if not JDS will be thrown out of state in the days to come. This baakwas JDS family politics has ruined state political behavior and people are fed up to learn about Grandfather - son - Daughter in law - grandson party. Whats the credentials of Nikhil to contest?
They even went to the extend of distributing Gold rings in some part of the constituency!!!
Let him remember people of Mandya have given right answer through ballet paper
    Long live India
