Ajman, May 24: An Arab man killed his girlfriend aged 34 and stabbed his colleague assuming that they were having an affair. His colleague was injured badly and is in a critical condition in Sheikh Khalifa hospital.

The Arab man after committing the crime handed himself over to the police.

As per his confession, he was dating the girl for the past three years, but since a year, he was suspicious about her having an affair and found changes in her behaviour. He felt that she was in a relationship with a 43 year old man who was working in the same security company in which he worked. This made him furious and thus decided to take this extreme step.

The director of CID at Ajman police, Lt Col Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi said that AK came to Al Madeena police station with blood stains on his body and surrendered himself.

He went to his workplace and injured his colleague and after considering him dead, he left for his girlfriend's place where he murdered her.

Al Nuaimi said that the CID officers then immediately reached the parking lot of Al-Nakheel area 2, where they found the man bleeding with head injuries and was then rushed to the hospital.

According to the culprit's confession, he had hit the victim's head with a tool and then left the place thinking he was dead. He then called his girlfriend asking her to meet him at her place in Rashidiya.

On his way to meet her, he took along medium sized scissors with him and went to the terrace of the building where they usually meet at 11 pm. He then stabbed her with the scissors on her neck and other parts of the body until she dropped dead.

The case has been already filed. The colleague who was injured is in a stable condition now and has been discharged from the hospital.
