Doha: Subcon Eng clinch Kundapura trophy at KTC tourney

Doha, Apr 21: Subcone Eng emerged champions of Kundapura trophy 2019.

They defeated fighting warriors to clamp the Kundapura trophy 2019.

The tournament was organised by Kundapura Taluk Cricketer's (KTC), a non profitable sports body representing cricketers and cricket lovers.

The tournament held at Old Ideal School ground was presented by Qatar freelance group and powered by Qatar masters. In the final, CCRC was put to bat where they scored 6 runs. An explosive knock by Pranav toward the end helped Subcone Eng to reach their target.

Best bowler, best batsman Ifzal from CCRC was man of the series, Shanil of Subcone Eng.

12 teams participated in the four day long floodlit hard tennis ball cricket tournament.



Habib ul Nabi G/S was the chief guest at the closing ceremony with Ramesh MD of Qatar masters, Ravi Shetty, MD as well as well wisher Deepak Shetty on the dais.

Past president Asmath Ali welcomed the gathering and vice president Mubarak thanked everyone. D J Naveev conducted the ceremony.
