Mumbai: Karunada Siri annual gathering, poetry, felicitations held

Mumbai, Apr 15: Creative organization of Mumbai, Karunada Siri held its annual get-together, recitation of poetry and felicitations at Mysuru Association auditorium, Matunga east on Saturday April 13. Srajana Balaga advisor, veteran author and poetess Dr Sunita M Shetty chaired the programme.

Dramatist S Daya, Saumya Sirish Aiyangar, teacher Ananth Megharaj, Shivayogi Sannamane, Karunada Siri’s Yogesh Supekar, Anil Gowda, Rakshit Shetty and others on the dais distributed scholarships to talented students and wished them well.

Well known poets Dr Karunaker N Shetty, Dr G P Kusuma, Gopal Trasi and Surekha Nayak presented their poems.



Advocate H K Sudhaker Arate, Karunaker G Putran, Dr Prakash Moodbidri, Lankesh Golapalli, Rajashree Shirwadker Sion, Dr Harish Salian, Leela Kharve, Ashok S Suvarna, Gopalakrishna Trasi, Dayasagar Chowta, Rakshith Shetty and others were present.

Ganesh Shetty sang a prayer song. Head of Karunada Siri, Balachandra Devadiga welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction. Nischita Salian and Bhimaraya Chilka introduced the guests. Saumya Salian and Abhishek Poojary compered the programme. Arun Dhone proposed the vote of thanks.

Youngsters, children of The Hope Foundation Dharavi artistes, Benky Boys, Rim group and other teams performed dances, presented songs, skits and more as part of the cultural programme.
