Mangaluru: Man catching fish with fishing rod drowns in pond

Mangaluru, Apr 12: A person who was catching fish from a pond with a fishing rod accidentally slipped and fell into the pond. He lost his life.

The incident happened at Pakshikere Panja near Kinnigoli. The identity of the person who lost his life in this manner has been given as T Mohammed (56), resident of Pakshikere.

Mohammed had approached the pond for catching fish and soon slipped and drowned unnoticed by anyone. Some locals saw that his car was parked near the pond since a long time. When they checked, they found Mohammed's body floating in the pond.

After the matter was conveyed, Mulky police went to the spot and registered a case of unnatural death.
