Mandya: Surgical strike by state government on Facebook accounts of foes?

Daijiworld Media Network - Mandya (MS)

Mandya, Mar 15: There is a suspicion that the state government is conducting 'Social Media Surgical Strike' on the social media websites which are conducting a scathing attack on the family politics that is being played by the Deve Gowda family.

The accounts of people who are making posts in favour of Sumalatha and against JD (S) are being targeted. The Facebook account of such people is getting locked all of a sudden. In addition, Share, Like and Comment of such posts is being disabled.

There is a strong doubt that the government led by CM Kumaraswamy is trying to put a brake on the attack of netizens. Some netizens have ridiculed the probable attack by the government by posting 'Let my account not get locked' along with the pictures of lemon and green chilli, which are considered as shooing away evil eyes of people.
