Recently my relative who is working in Abudhabi took his wife for 1st trimester pregnancy scanning at a reputed hospital there. The female Radiologist who performed the ultrasound scanning informed them the gender of baby without being asked. Such an ignorance.

Kishore, instead of calling the Radiologist ignorance, I am forced to say that you are infact ignorant here. You should know that in UAE the sex determination is legal and no such female foeticide killing takes place in that country.

My relative even had his first child born in UAE, during that time also they did not insist on knowing the gender of child, hence was not disclosed by the radiologist. This time as suggested by Gynecologist, for general check-up scanning was performed and not for determining the gender of baby. But this ignorant lady radiologist disclosed the gender of child without asking for.
