Kundapur, Dec 19: “Proud men do not deserve to teach from the position of a teacher. The one who sees the almighty in the exploited, practices religion and has values,” said Gaurigadde Dattashrama Avadhoota Vinay Gurooji.

Vinay Gurooji blessed the installation of Dattashrama, Adishakti math and south Bhadrakali temple. “The practice of being Brahmin comes from knowledge. Nature decides everything. We see failed dreams of those who go beyond nature everyday. Values beyond religion should be our life. Ashrams without Garbhagudi proclaim the tradition of humanity,” he said.

Basrur Mahalingeshwar temple managing trustee B Appanna Hegde chaired the programme. Several temple priests were present.

Shivappanna, Geethakka, Chandrashekar Jayapura, Shrangeshwari Rayaru, Jayanth Bhat, DySP B P Dinesh Kumar, circle inspector Manjayya, SI Harish Kumar, Suresh Nayak, Harish Tolar, Suresh Maistry, Sathish Poojary engineer, Manohar, Suresh Sastana, Srinivas, Vijay, Subhas and Rajendra were felicitated.
