Bengaluru: Multi-crore scam - Another fraudster fled country after duping people?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 25: Like some high flying persons who have fled from the country after defaulting loans raised from banks, sources say that there is a possibility that a person named Sachin Nayak, a real estate businessman from the city, having fled the country probably to Singapore. Sachin, sources say, had promised hundreds of people to provide them sites, apartments and houses at very reasonable rates, and collecting crores of rupees from them, and then making good his escape.

Reportedly, Sachin Nayak and two women who claimed to be his wives, had collected hundreds of crores of rupees from about 7,000 persons between 2011 and 2016. They dealt with names like Dreamz Infra, Gruha Kalyan and TGS. Several complaints have been registered against them in Madiwala and some other police stations here, and currently criminal investigation department (CID) is pursuing the cases.

It has been over two years since the fraud came to light, and CID is yet to file charge sheet. Many have accused the department of being lethargic in its investigation. As per information, Sachin, who secured conditional bail during September last year, did not appear before the investigating officers thereafter. As he has remained away from investigation since a year, the court has issued arrest warrant against him. While there are strong doubts about him fleeing the country, but CID officials believe he is in the country, based on their information that he does not possess a passport.

It seems as if the PM Modi's BJP government of India has come up with a new scheme – ‘Fleece India, Flee India’. The ones who have fled thus are accused of cheating the banks to the tune of Rs 35,000 crore. There are many Gujaratis among the absconders – Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Nitin Sandesara, Jatin Mehta. In a lighter vein, is it a case of some special treatment being meted out, a most favoured clause at work here?
Asked if many businessmen had absconded after “doing scams” and settled in various other countries, Minister of State for External Affairs M.J. Akbar in a written reply gave a list of 31 persons, including Nirav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi, accused in the Punjab National Bank scam, who are under investigation by the Directorate of Enforcement and the CBI.
The others in the list are: Soumit Jena, Vijaykumar Revabhai Patel, Sunil Ramesh Rupani, Pushpesh Kumar Baid, Surender Singh, Angad Singh, Harsahib Singh, Harleen Kaur, Ashish Jobanputra, Jatin Mehta, Chetan Jayantilal Sandesara, Dipti Chetan Sandesara, Nitin Jayantilal Sandesara, Sabhya Seth, Nilesh Parrekh, Umesh Parekh, Sunny Kalra, Aarti Kalra, Sanjay Kalra, Varsha Kalra, Hemant Gandhi, Ishwarbhai Bhat, M.G. Chandrasakhar, Cheriya Vannarakkal Sudeer, Nausha Kadeejath and Cheriya Veettil Sadique.

Since IPL scamster Lalit Modi given special 'Humanitarian' treatment by the Externa Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajastan Chief Minister Vasudara Raje, the list is growing with more names every other day.

Instead of bringing 'Black money' by PM Modi government from tax havens, in four years of BJP ruling peoples money is vanishing from banks.

As per article 21, it is the duty of State govt. to provide impartial investigation but not the central government or PM. Idiots are blaming our hon'ble Prime Minister for the scams occurred in Karnataka State. Why Karnataka Govt not handing over the said fraud case to CBI ? Due to lack of knowledge idiots are blaming central government. Yous are belonging to a political party so you are blaming PM Modi for State Government's fault. CID is doing investigation and fraudster escaped so State Govt should be questioned but not the central govt.

It seems all IPS, IRS, CTO, KAS, RTO, officers and their family must have parked their ill gotten wealth with this person on the promise of getti g a good returns. As the money is all un ac punted nobody has guts to complain to police regarding his cheating.

Of course PM has nothing to do with his run away, but the irony is that the opposite is happening of what he promised and said before and after last general election. Promise of bringing black money and fraudsters from outside the country has turned out be the opposite as fraudsters collecting money from the public and other through illegal means and running away from the country. There is no break on corruption and instead increased manifold!
