Hassan: Fight over money sharing - one murdered

Hassan, Sep 25: A murder happened at Nuggehalli in Channarayapatna taluk of the district on Monday September 24. It is said that a fight erupted on the issue of sharing the money earned by working as coolies.

The man who was killed in this incident was Manja Naik (50) from Tippagatta, Arasikere. Those who killed him tossed his body on the platform of his home before escaping.

It is suspected that this murder was committed by Manja Naik's brother, Murthy Naik and his son-in-law, Ranganath. Manja Naik was killed with the help of a pickaxe.

Nuggehalli police have registered a case and have begun investigation.
