Underworld don Ravi Poojary in 2015 made life threats to 3 ministers, 2 MLA's

Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment B Ramanath Rai, Health Minister UT Khader and Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Fisheries K Abhayachandra Jain and MLAs Haladi Srinivasa Shetty and Sambaji Patil received threats from Ravi Poojary. Apart from them, businessmen Vijay Sankeshwar and Siddaratha R. Mehta also received life threats from him.

In 2018 Student activist Shehla Rashid and Dalit leader from Gujarat Jignesh Mevani received simillar death threat.

There are 61 cases of life threats and extortion stand registered against Ravi Poojari. His five associates in the sensational murder of advocate Naushad Kashimji Mangalore is also put to rest.

By studying the pattern of his threat in the absence of 'Interpol' red corner notice points that he is been used by Hindu fanatic organisation associated with RSS and BJP can't be ruled out.

Ironically, PM Modi's Home ministry who is seeking extradition of D-Group and Islamic evangelist is no mood to pursue this case despite threat our elected leaders, business people and judiciary.
