Senior AAP leader Ashutosh resigns from party citing 'personal reasons'

New Delhi, Aug 15 (DC): Senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Ashutosh resigned from the party on Wednesday citing “personal reasons”.

Ashutosh took to Twitter to announce his resignation and said: “Every journey has an end. My association with AAP which was beautiful/revolutionary has also an end. I have resigned from the PARTY/requested PAC to accept the same. It is purely from a very very personal reason. Thanks to party/all of them who supported me Throughout. Thanks.”

The 53-year-old had left journalism and joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2014.

He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chandni Chowk against Kapil Sibal of Congress and Harsh Vardhan of the BJP. Though, he garnered more votes than Kapil Sibal of the Congress, he lost out to Dr Harsh Vardhan of the BJP.

    We cannot handle one Season of heavy rains...be it Bombay..Mangalore..Kerala.
    Previous time we complaint of NO water.
    Now, we have Engineers but no Jobs.
    Patienets and no hospitals.
    Amma gives free food..freeCycles.. and Free HOOCH ..spoiling the people...
    With 1.3 Billion heads India today simply needs.. Military Training of one and all.every indian. Top to bottom ..with no exception.
    Serve mother earth in uniform.
    Love one another.
    Work is worship
    Innovate like Japanese and Israelis.
    India is blessed with Ocean of Human Resource....skills...talent....All Intelligent..but lack discipline..Listening skills.
    India today need few tall Dynamic..firebrand.. Leaders like :
    Atal ji: Vallbhai patel: Dr. Kalam: Subhash Bose:
    Sam Manekshaw.
    Great Characters....
    Above all.Every indian work hard. and make things happen.
    If China can Conquer the world with 1.3 Billionn chinese ..
    we indians with 1.3 billion indians can do better.
    Need to listen more.. talk less.work till you drop like the Japanese..
    Innovate..state of art.
    No more imports but only exports...
    save money.
    Genearte Mega employment..
    rake in money.
    Follow China.
    They even bring/import water and Noodles and thus generating employment to those Chinese ..plus sending them money.. ..
    We have too much Politics.. and religion...than Work ethics..work culture.
    Build most modern Nation on this planet.
    first build Clean road with no POT Holes.
    Bridge not collapsing on Inauguration day.
    Pumpwell can be ready after 10 years from now.
    All rain water can drain in Arabian seas?
    wake up india wake up..

    Politicians can be believed but not the Mediamen or the Journalists. He was a Journalist, but how he can be a Journalist if he has Politics in his mind.
    Remember journalists & top level media men enjoying lavish life than the politicians. Whichever party comes to power these journalistse get all the facilities, perks for free including bunglows, sites etc....

    ..Because of this Kujli, Ashuthosh pretended like Aaam admi & not able eat in Luxury Hotels for the last 4 years..He decided to resign on the day KUJLI spent 1.5lakhs for 4 hours stay in Luxury Hotel in Bangalore..
