Mangaluru, Aug 10: In view of heavy rains, deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada Sasikanth Senthil has declared holiday for schools and PU colleges on August 11.

Heavy rains have lashed the city over the past couple of days causing inundation in some areas.

Water-logging situation in a few areas have affected the daily lives of city dwellers.
