Karwar: Tragedy strikes as three members of family drown when swimming

Karwar, Apr 9: Three members of a family who had gone for swimming, met watery grave on Sunday April 8. . The incident happened in Taribole stream within the limits of Hattikeri gram panchayat in Ankola taluk.

The deceased were Ramesh Ambiga (50), and his children, Ravi Ramesh Ambiga (18) and Naveen Ramesh Ambiga (15). Out of them, the body of Naveen Ambiga could be retrieved by the divers. Search for the other two bodies is on.

A case of unnatural death in this connection ws filed in Ankola police station.
