Vishal goes on foodie trail in hometown


Mumbai, Jan 2 (IANS): Actor Vishal Vashishtha, who is currently shooting for TV show "Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki" in Kolkata, is on a foodie trial in the city and relishing different cuisines.

Vishal hails from Kolkata and is currently staying with his family.

"I am extremely happy that I got the chance to stay in my hometown Kolkata with my family while shooting for the show ‘Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki' in the city of joy. The city is my favourite spot to hangout and I love the popular Kolkata food," Vishal said in a statement.

"I am a huge fan of street food and whenever I get time I just drive to have delicacies of the city. I am a big lover of ‘Phuchka'," he added.

"Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki" is aired on Star Bharat.

Jannat, Gauri's great bond

Actresses Jannat Zubair Rahmani and Gauri Pradhan, who are seen portraying a mother-daughter relationship in TV show "Tu Aashiquii", share a "great bond" off-screen.

"I am the happiest when I am shooting with Gauri and we share a great bond off-screen. She takes care of me and keeps a check if I have eaten properly or not. She is an extremely warm and loving person," Jannat said in a statement.

"Whenever we have scenes together and she has rude dialogues to deliver, we normally end up laughing during the shot because it's so uncharacteristic of us in real life. Nidhi (Shah), who plays my on-screen sister and I will always be found in Gauri's room. We are called the 'gang' on set," she added.

"Tu Aashiquii" is aired on Colors.
