Kundapur, Jan 1: The chief minister of Puducherry, V Narayana Swamy arrived in Kollur on Sunday, December 31 and offered special pooja and performed Homa Havana in Mookambika temple on Monday, January 1.

He landed in Mangaluru by flight and reached Kollur by road on Sunday. He performed special pooja and Kumkumarchane to the deity on Monday morning, at 5 am. Tulabhara and Chandika Homa were held at 8 am. It is said that he has visited the temple in the past and conducted Chandika Homa.

Assistant executive of the temple Krishnamurthi, management committee member K Ramesh Ganiga, Narasimha Halageri and others welcomed the chief minister.

He visited Udupi and Kateel temple by road and returned by flight via Mangaluru.
