Bengaluru: Actor sends obscene messages to actress, booked


Bengaluru, Jan 1: A Kannada film actor has been booked for sending obscene text messages to his female co-actor in yet-to-be released movie.

N Rajashekar (43) is the person who has been booked.

The victim is 23 year old.

Rajashekar has played the victim's father's role in the movie. The film is likely to hit the screens in January 2018. The film's director is playing the lead role in the movie.

As per details available, the victim in her complaint stated that Rajashekar sent her messages accusing her of having an affair with the film's hero. He also started threatening her subsequently.

Rajashekar has been booked under IPC Sections 354-D (stalking), 509 (outraging the modesty of a woman), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
