Udupi, Dec 30: Political and social leader Dinesh Putran has been appointed president of district Congress campaign committee.
Dinesh Putran has served as a Congress activist, district president of district students congress (NSUI), president of Udupi auto rikshaw cooperative society, president of district athletics association, president of Ganeshotsava committee of devotees and auto rikshaw drivers, president of Mulki Putran base, indulged in several groups and associations and conducted similar activities.
He has experience of working as private assistant to Oscar Fernandes. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Campaign Committee president D K Shivakumar has appointed Dinesh Putran on December 29 as president of district campaign committee.
