Better prepare for 2024, as BJP will win 2019: Yogi taunts Congress

Lucknow, Dec 18 (IANS): With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) set to return to power in Gujarat, a state it has ruled continuously for 22 years, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday taunted the Congress and asked it to prepare for the "2024 general elections" as a BJP win in 2019 polls was a "certainty".

Talking to reporters, ahead of the day's proceedings at the ongoing winter session of the state assembly, Adityanath said that people have rejected the Congress and its leadership one after another and that they should now mull a strategy for 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

He also observed that people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh had proved beyond a point that they are for positive and development oriented politics.

"The results have shown that the people of Gujarat and Himachal are strongly with the economic initiatives taken by Prime Minister Modi and will continue to support him to see India emerge as a global economic superpower," he added. The monk-turned-Chief Minister also advised opposition leaders to accept the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Adityanath had campaigned extensively in Gujarat, often spending nights there and hopping through the length and breadth of the state. As a star campaigner, he spoke of the development politics that the BJP perused in Uttar Pradesh and also spoke for an end to the politics of appeasement.

Many of his Ministers and state BJP office bearers had camped in Gujarat cities to campaign, specially in areas with a large population of 'poorvanchalis' (natives of eastern Uttar Pradesh), now settled in Gujarat.

    Yogi has failed miserably as an administrator and has made our country a laughing stock in the world as the world watches all his antics. High time the reins are handed over to a seasoned politician to save the state of UP from disaster.

    Even though congress did not get majority, it is considered as good development. If BJP wins almost 90% then it is actual win for them.
    Most of the BJP leaders behave like unprofessional and don't know how to react like Yogi.
    There is only one leader in BJP that is Shrimati Sushma Swaraj who works /talks with high standard.

    Yogi every pride has a downfall, these are the exact words uttered in 2004 election by BJP government under vajpaye by his arrogant ministers and everyone knows the results BJP was banished out of power for 10 yrs. Modi came to power with false promises innocent Indian people believed him, but people are clever and intelligent and BJP will see the 2019 results, just as pm and entire cabinet sweated out to scrap through, shah had predicted 150 record breaking seat and now they are in 2 digits, next election it will be single digits, have patience yogi time is not far.

    Yogi need to remember that paid media and the exit poll significantly turned the vote around; thus proving once again of the huge amount of taxpayers money that the BJP is spending to stay in power.

    The exit poll actually plays the decider to the significant number of undecided voters.

    When ATM's are hacked , Why cant you hack EVM
    When a human body is hacked why can't you hack EVM created by man. Thoughts to reflect by Hardik.
    Its actually a moral win to Congress . Bringing down the BJP for two digits.
    I prefer the ballot election in 2019.
    its still to note that only 60% voting is done out of it 2.5%nota and 4% vote is for others.

    People of UP know it better. they have given proper answer in the muncipal elections in UP recently. Up government had provided enough money to the Hospital in which children deaths occurred. The phenomenon of children deaths had been happenning during SP government also. Children deaths has been alarmingly in Kolar, karnataka too. can we hold Siddu responsible for this?.

    kaha se kaha pahunch gaye ho janab... should recall your words few days back... ab directly jumped to UP, children killed etc etc... vo josh bhara words... "Rahul will teach a lesson to Modi..." .."Congress will crush BJP".... what happened sir... I challenged you on that day that BJP will win Gujarath and then let's talk.. now congress is talking margin, difference etc etc... but lost is lost. Win is win... now congress need to wait for 5 more years to win. irrespective of trying all possible ways, caste, reservations, bad words, wearing rudrakshi, viswiting temples... stop visiting musjids... wow... all angles are tried... but could not. So, they ( including you ) need to accept the defeat and keep shut.
