Mandya: Police cite security threat to CM, make female patient to walk to hospital

Daijiworld Media Network - Mandya (MS)

Mandya, Nov 21: In an inhuman incident reported from Nagamangala on Monday, Nov 20, a female patient who was being taken to hospital in an ambulance was made to alight from the vehicle and walk till hospital citing security of chief minister (CM) Siddaramaiah.

As the CM was participating in the foundation stone laying ceremony of Kanaka Bhavana, police had blocked one road to make way for the CM's convoy to pass smoothly.

In the meantime, the ambulance, carrying the said female patient, arrived near the blocked road. However, the police did not allow the ambulance to pass and asked the relatives of the patient to get her down from the ambulance and take her by walk to the hospital. The relatives of the patient had no other option and helped the patient to walk for more than 300 meters before reaching the hospital.

Why we should treat CM as a king, while he is peoples servant? Just because he loot the people he is a kind. Look a the western world. Even PM's are doing their duty on Bi-cycle without security. What's so great about Nidderamayya? He has hurt the sentiments of Hindu's in DK repeatedly and now he is hurting the sentiments of Women. His days are numbered.

If he was the honest CM and real care taker of state people, then he would have asked his security team to allow ambulance first......By God's grace, nothing happened to the patient, but her life was kept under risk due to someone's negligence..........
    Note fair at all....

No point in blaming the CM. He may not even know the incident. Police to blame here. Commonsense and humanity is lacking with the police. We should ask DKS to slap those police.

Why blame on CM, it is police duty and they have to obey rule, CM has already instructed police not to hold any ambulance which comes accrors during his any visits, i think there is play game by opposition to spoil his name,

For your kind information, Police do their job. Again how many honest Police can you find? Politicians have the power to transfer Police. Naturally they obey Minister. Do you or I know if CM said to block and not allow anyone including ambulance? All I say is boycott elections whichever party. Voting is not a compulsion. It's moral respect which is important irrespective of caste creed or religion. I know why my ambulance was held up after speaking to a politician who happened to be in the convoy. Sad politicos spoil society. In the gulf we are better off. The Sheikh laughs seeing Indian jokers.

Compensation and suspend all police personnel who didn't allow the ambulance to pass. Ministers dependon public for vote. Boycott Congress as this is frequently happening. Recently I too faced the same thing when I was being taken by ambulance.
