Kuwait: AKFK holds picnic for members at Kabed Farm House

Kuwait, Nov 6: Abbasiya Konkani Families Kuwait (AKFK) organized a picnic at Kabed Farm House here on Friday, November 3.

The much-awaited day began with a prayer by Walty Santumayer. AKFK president Ronnie Fernandes welcomed the gathering.

A delicious breakfast was served to all; followed by warm-up dance, group games and lots of spot games-and-dances, which entertained the gathering throughout the day. It was a memorable day for all to enjoy every moment for the gathering. The games were conducted by Lavina, Rajesh, Precilla, Walter and Deepak.



Delicious lunch sponsored by Maxy and family, Walter and family, Dominic and family was prepared and served.

The special attraction of the event, housie-housie game was conducted by Maxim and Lavina. Prizes were presented to all the winners.

Picnic co-coordinator Lavina Furtado thanked Fr Noel D’Almeida and Ronie Fernandes for their support towards the committee. Sponsors of the event were Ronnie/Clara, Rony Lobo and family, Norbert and family, Morvine and family, Peter, Walter and family, Ozie and family, Herold, Mark and family, Fr Noel, and Melvin. Bus for travel was sponsored by Mathias.

The DJ entertained everyone sponsored by Norbert and Morvine.

Ronie Fernandes thanked all who helped to make the picnic successful and memorable.

The program was compered by Deepak Andrade, Lavina Furtado, and Walter Santumayer.
