Bengaluru: 'Shut down website trolling Shah'


Bengaluru, Sep 21 (DHNS): A delegation of BJP leaders on Wednesday lodged a complaint with Bengaluru city police commissioner T Suneel Kumar, urging him to take action against the handlers of a website who are hosting defamatory content against their party president Amit Shah.

In the complaint, BJP general secretary C T Ravi and spokespersons Go Madhusudan and Ashwathnarayana that the website ‘mybengalooru.com’ has been created with the main intent of circulating negative and false information against Shah.

The complainants have said that they suspect Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s aides were behind these trolls, which were being shared via ‘Namma nechhinamukhyamantri’ Facebook page.

They have demanded action under cyber laws and that both the website and Facebook page be taken down immediately.
